Roughly a third of the food produced in the world gets wasted every year, and in Asia waste rice accounts for over 600 million tonnes of greenhouse gases. That’s about 1.2 billion portions of sushi!

So we had an idea to brew Sake from unused sushi rice. We approached the UK’s first Sake brewery down in Peckham. Found a sushi chain, Sticks'n'Sushi. And 12 months later For Goodness Sake was born.

The product launched at the opening of their new Soho restaurant in October and is now available across all of Sticks ‘n’ Sushi restaurants.

Let's take a sip in right direction, For Goodness Sake!
